Airborne.jpg
Two beautiful lions photographed in the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park in South Africa/Botswana. Taken in early morning light I photographed these lions against the sun with some bright risen dust. The lions just made a Springbok kill an hour earlier and the remains of the kill visible in the vegetation. The social interaction in this particular case was playful between these two lions. The lioness leaped and got herself airborne foe a split-second. I did post-processing Adobe Lightroom 6. This included cropping, dust removal and straightening of the horizon. Profile correction was done. Black and white values were restored to a natural scene. Global exposure had to be increased by 0.5 and shadows increased by 30%. Contrast increased by 20% and vibrance increased by 10%.. Global clarity and sharpening were increased by 10%. Monochrome converted images from African fauna and flora.
